My take on New Moon...I've been Imprinted!
Okay so as most of you know I'm a Twi-Freak! Since the premier I've seen New Moon the second installment of Twilight twice. So here's what I think about the movie. First of all let me say that I know and knew that the Twilight movies were never going to be as good as the books. So I don't have that expectation but a girl can hope.
Twilight was better than New Moon in some ways and vise versa. So what did I miss in New Moon that Twilight had? One thing was what the book Twilight had that New Moon didn't.....the "newness", the love and passion, feeling like a little school girl all gitty. Also I am saying this as bluntly as possible. THE MUSIC SUCKS!!!!! I'm sorry if there is anyone who enjoys the sound track. I'm glad that there is someone who does. But I won't spend a dime on any thing that involves the music for New Moon. I'm sooooooo disapointed! Why? Well for one thing my favorite parts in Twilight was the baseball scene and the prom dance at the end. It still gives me chills. And it has to do largely to the music! They did use a couple Muse songs but they were lame. So was the rest of the music. I think that any movie the music can make or break a film. It can make you stand up and a plod encore a or make you anxious for it to be over. It can make you cry and not be able to stop crying or it can make you irritated and want to hit someone. So they better do sooooooooo much better in selecting the music for Eclipse! (which they are doing right now since filming rapped a month ago)
What I enjoyed in New Moon that made it better than Twilight were a few things. First the cinematography was sooooo much better. No more green and bluish screens.
The other things were the new characters. The Voulturi! I blogged about them at the beginning of the year so if you read it you know how much I was excited about them and I feel they met my hopes and I'm very proud of them in the movie.
I also loved the Forks clan! Mike and Jessica were hilarious! They did such a good job at hamming it up and kudos to the writing for them.
And last but not least........TAYLOR LAUTNER was soo good! I do think he doesn't do a very good angry Jacob but everything else done perfectly!! I also think that Kristen Stewart did a bit better in New Moon. There wasn't nearly as much eye fluttering as before. And Rob still shined! or should I say SPARKLE!!

Our Little Home
When we moved into our new place at the begining of summer and had planned on taking pics and posting them. I was so buisy with my job that I didn't get around to it.....well not that my calander is wide open and I'm trying to do things to keep me buisy...here are some pics.
(The entry way) Scott loves this layout it why we picked this apt.

(This is my favorite part. The saying is "We may not have it all together. But together we have it all)
Our apt is 2 bedroom and 2 bath. I didn't take pictures of the bedrooms cause they are still works in progress. And I didn't take pictures of the bathrooms cause who wants to see my bathrooms??
Lost Toy
Harley our little dachsund was playing with his "squicky" toy that he takes with him every where and some how managed to loose it under the couch and he tries desperately to get it out.

Twitterer
Okay so I'm caving and trying out this whole Twittering thing. I've not really been interested in it but since it's so popular and I keep hearing about it I thought I would try it out. But is it worth the time and energy? I'm still trying to figure the whole twittering thing out. Honestly?! Between blogging, myspaceing, facebooking, emailing, and twilightmoms.coming it is really truly exhausting! But I can't help it cause I get to meet new people, keep in contact with old friends, stay updated with family, and follow my Twilight and LBT happenings and it's been so great! So.....I dunno....

"Life isn't all celebrities and hunky vampires! Sometimes life is about slightly less hunky vampires and teen wolves! And that's okay!"
Okay so like a lot of people I tuned into to last nights MTV Movie Awards just so I could see the new trailer for New Moon. It was so awesome to watch Twilight and the cast sweep the awards last night. The only award it didn't win was "movie song of the year" for Paramore's Decode. Robert and Kristen were so funny to watch. Although I wish they were alittle bit more confident in them selves. But I love watching how shy, awkward, and feeling "not worthy" of all the attention and awards they won. But blah blah blah.......it was a lot of fun to watch! Andy Sandburg is so funny! The best was when he psyched us all out when he said that this was it the time we've all been waiting for......."The clip from New Moon! Let's take a look!" and he played this......http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/395503/2009-mtv-movie-awards-twilight-spoof.jhtml#id=1611658 I laughed so hard!! "Life isn't all celebrities and hunky vampires! Sometimes life about is slightly less hunky vampires and teen wolves! And that's okay!"

Well as many of you know I'm a Twilight freak! A "Twi-lighter", a "Twi-Hard" and a girl who want's be bitten. New Moon the second instalment of the Twilight series had been moving forward since the begining of the year into becoming a movie like its big sister Twilight with pretty much the same cast as Twilight but with a new director. I thought that Catherine Hardwick, director of Twilight, did an "ok" job. I love the movie! But not because of the directing. It was because of the acting done by Robert Pattinson and of coarse because of the story itself! So I'm sure it will be same for New Moon. I will love the movie cause of the story but will be picking it a part like I did and have in Twilight.
I have to say that I was one who thought that they could have picked a better Edward. I had thought that Kristen Stewart was perfect for the role and Ashley Greene as Alice was literally picture perfect! But when I saw the movie all my thoughts had turned around. I absolutely thought Robert ROCKED playing Edward and Kristen was lacking as Bella. Then Ashley didn't work for me as Alice. Other than her base ball throwing skills her acting as Alice sucked. Not in a good vampire way. Now this all could do in part cause of the directing (the good and bad) But I'm excited to see the difference a different director makes.
I know I ramble on but my main point for blogging this is ever since I heard that they were going to be making Twilight into movie(s) I have been saying (my entire family and some friends will vouch) that I cannot wait for the part in New Moon when Bella meets the Volturians. I can't wait to see her walk down the cobble stoned hall ways tucked under Edward's arms while the tourists pass her and then the screaming! But more than that I can't wait for them to introduce Aro. He is my favorite vampire! Other than Edward. His character has fascinated me!
So here is what I have been picturing Aro since I met his character. One word....."Jesus"! Really! I pictured him alto like Jesus. With long brown wavy hair.......and much more than looks! I fear Aro but I'm not afraid of him. Almost like when you see him you want to bow down at his feet. Ahhhh he is so awesome! Even thought he eats tourists for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ;) So any hew I had been worried about who they were going to cast him as. Especially when they announced that Dakota Fanning was going to be playing Jane. Not that I don't think that Dakota will do a good job. In fact I think she is a terrific actress! But she is a kid! So I was worried that all the Volturians were going to be played by teens! That would be horrible!!!!! HORRIBLE! So again I was worried...........But not any more! Behold Aro! Meet Micheal Greene! He's perfect. Scott and I rented the latest Underworld movie just so I could see him act. It was so great! His acting was superb! The irony is that he plays a werewolf....Go figure ;)
I would now like to say that I would give my right harm to be able to go to Italy and be an extra playing a naive American tourist devoured by Aro in New Moon!! ;)
PS I CAN'T WAIT til NOVEMBER!

The Road Trip to Here
Scott and I did a road trip to Boise ID on Feb17th to see Little Big Town on there stop for their head lining tour. I had won tickets to the concert and a meet and greet again! It was so much fun! We drove up that morning and drove home that night! Scott did an amazing job driving through snow storms and fog to get us home safe at 5am Wed morning! I love that man of mine! It was so much fun spending that time with him! I love road trips! And LBT Rocks!! They put on the best show ever! The venue was like a basic club so we were right close to the stage! Not to mention they were the same incredibly nice people I met last year! It was amazing! We are a bunch of crazy fans!
PS LBT is coming to SLC in Sept with Keith Urban. I'm buying the tickets tomorrow! I know I know I'm insane!

Valentine '09
Scott put together a wonderful Valentine weekend for the both of us. He set up to have the in-laws baby sit Kea and Harley, he got a room at the Little America in SLC for Valentines night, made Dinner reservations at Fleming's at the Gate Way, and got tickets to the Utah Symphony with special guests the King Singers. Scott is a huge fan of the King Singers.
When we checked in at the Little America they told us that we had been upgraded to a sweet at the Grande America across the street! I had tears in my eyes just cause I knew that Scott tried really hard to make this Valentines special for me. It really touched me and having the up grade made even more special. The room was amazing! We both got all gussied up for dinner and the symphony. Scott told me to buy a really nice formal dress. I was really excited. For all of you who know me know that I didn't get asked to the school dances and I always wanted to go. So I guess you can say in away this was making up for that and I finally had my chance to buy a formal gown, and have a great night with my rediculously good looking man!
It was a night to remember! Thanks baby for making me the luckiest lady on the planet! I love you!
